Manufacturing Process Management

A general name for technologies, methods and programs used for product manufacturing. MPM is the key element of the concept of product lifecycle management (PLM), being a link between the systems of automated design and enterprise resource planning. Manufacturing workshop layout, planning technological processes, programming CNC machine tools are included in MPM. The MPM-system is closely connected to the systems of product data management (PDM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution system (MES) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS).
