Engineering Change Notice

Engineering Change Notice/Order (ECN/ECO) – formal documents or electronic records notifying selected persons of proposed, pending or accomplished changes. In the product data management systems (PDM), ECN and ECO are distributed by e-mail or using a special distribution process in a lifecycle.
