Electronic Design Automation. A category of software tools for design and manufacturing of electronic systems – from p-c boards to IC, – a form of computer-aided design (CAD). The concept of EDA is often used in the systems of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and manufacturing (CAM) for electronics – along with ECAD (Electronic Computer-Aided Design).
