3D XML

An universal XML-based lightweight file format for prompt and simple 3D-data exchange. 3D XML facilitates easy compilation of diversified and rich information on product lifecycle into technical documentation, operating manuals, marketing materials, web-sites, e-mails, etc. Saved geometry is fully described in XML and can be read in any standard XML editor. 3D XML enables prompt fixing and dissemination of "live" 3D-data in a light format, reducing file sizes by over 90%. The format is developed and supported by Dassault Systemes.
