Master Production Schedule

A combination of all known and expected needs for a specific product. The manufacturing plan is extended to the planning horizon – several months or years ahead – and includes only information about the demand for finished products through time. The level of components (component demand) is processed by the systems for Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
