Graphical User Interface. A system of user interaction with applications, based on presenting all user-available system objects and functions as graphic components on the screen (windows, menus, toolbars, buttons, dialog elements). An alternative to the traditional command line interface; is widely used in the modern systems - CAD, PLM and ERP.
