Capacity Requirements Planning

The technology for planning the loading of labor and technical resources in accordance with the given material requirement plan (MRP). Workstation load is calculated on the basis of the roadmap for product manufacturing– a set of steps (operations) required to manufacture a product or its part. Each operation is performed at a workstation, which has one or several members of staff and /or equipment. CRP technology is part of the concept of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II).
